Yes. Students must follow the school dress code of the high school. In addition, program instructors will advise students regarding required uniforms, safety gear, or shoe requirements for the classroom or lab areas.
Instructors may set the dress and shoe requirements in each program area in order to comply with health and safety standards.

Yes. Regular attendance is essential to success. If a student is to be absent, it is necessary that a parent/guardian make direct contact to report the absence.
Multiple unexcused absences can result in the loss of credit due to contact hour and lab requirements needed for most college credit and certifications.

Student grades and attendance are reported to the home high school at the end of each grading period. Report cards reflect grades. High school credits earned are reflected on the student’s transcript.

There is no cost to attend TEWA classes.
There may be some costs associated with participating in certain learning experiences, such as uniform, shoe, or equipment rentals. These types of costs may be required, but we aim to ensure that cost is not an obstacle for participation. Funding may be available to support.

TEWA Curriculum is developed based upon state, national, and business and industry certification standards. Courses provide students the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in preparation for industry certification testing.
